Corstorphine Community Council

Community Councils are set up by the local authority and comprise individual, elected community councillors and representatives of local groups. Community Councils work with the City of Edinburgh Council, NHS and Police Scotland to help enhance the local area and to ensure that the views, opinions and concerns those living and working here are being taken into account when decisions on amenities, traffic and planning affecting our neighbourhood are being made.

As a result of boundary changes which come into effect in March 2025, Corstorphine is represented by three community councils as noted below:

  • Corstorphine & Clermiston
  • Corstorphine East and West Craigs
  • Corstorphine Gyle

Details of each of these, and of Community Councils more generally, is available from the City of Edinburgh Community Council web pages. Each of these Community Councils also has their own Facebook page.
