Edinburgh City Mission

St Thomas' has had a long association with Edinburgh City Mission.

Edinburgh City Mission is a charitable organisation providing relief to those in need by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in words, deeds, and actions. They strive to restore those facing deprivation, exclusion, and isolation in Edinburgh to full life, spiritually, socially and materially.

St Thomas' member, Fiona Christie, is the Salaam Befriending Coordinator running a programme which connects local Christians with New Scots (refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants) in year-long befriending relationships.
