Community

We seek to build community in a number of ways:

  • through regular activities or special events held in our buildings that are open to non-members;
  • work we do outside of our church in a variety of ministries;
  • and by providing information that helps us link into the wider local community in which we sit.
Regular activities include: Coffee Plus, Mums and Toddlers (open to Dads and other carers too!), uniformed organisations (Brownies and Rainbows), Nursing Home Ministry, Bethany Christian Trust/Edinburgh City Mission Care Van.

Special events include: charity fund-raising quiz nights, family fun days, children's holiday clubs. St Thomas' usually has a stand at the Corstorphine Fair, a major local event that's held every two years - click here to see what St Thomas' did at the 2026 Fair.

See our What's On within the website for details of upcoming events.

In the Locality Information section we've included links to websites that explain more about the local area, the City and Community Councils and their work, so we can be informed and involved in what's happening around us.
Hello

Planning your Visit

New to church?

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here for some time, we hope that the website helps you find out what you want to know about St Thomas' Church.

We meet for worship at 10:30am on Sunday mornings and we also livestream that service to YouTube. Our evening service starts at 7:00pm.

Further details of our activities are available within the Church Life area of our website. Local community information may be found at this link.
